Retired Cherry Hill Fire Department Firefighter / Fire Inspector Jim Birdsed away on September 26, 2024.

Jim served as a Firefighter with Cherry Hill Fire District #3 from February 26, 1973 until the consolidation of the Cherry Hill Fire Department in 1994. Jim served the CHFD as a Firefighter and Fire Inspector from 1994 until retiring from uniformed service in 2010. Jim returned as a civilian to the Fire Marshal's Office and served until 2016.

Internment will be on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at 1:30pm at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery at 350 Provinceline Road, North Hanover Twp, NJ 08562. Uniform of the day for attending members will be Class A.
