Early on January 14, 2023, Cherry Hill Fire Department units operated on an accident on Interstate 295. While operating at that incident, Rescue Ladder 13 was struck by a passing vehicle. The impact from the secondary accident left the motorist from the striking vehicle trapped, requiring extrication. Cherry Hill Fire Department members provided immediate aid and utilized hydraulic rescue tools to free the occupant of the second crash, who was then transported for further treatment.Thankfully, there were no injuries to our members.
